NP Dodge Announces BeROYAL Online Auction to Benefit the Omaha Schools Foundation

September 18th, 2015 by NP Dodge Marketing Team

NP Dodge Real Estate is excited to announce it is partnering with several major Omaha and regional businesses to raise money for local teen job programs with the Omaha Schools Foundation, the Omaha Public Schools’ non-profit wing.

Why teen job skills? Many issues facing teens in Omaha today stem from a lack of job skills and this hinders them finding employment in a tightening job market. When teens are working they make better decisions in their life and they set themselves up for success in the future.

The BeROYAL package includes tickets, transportation, hotel and Alex Gordon memorabilia for the September 25th Kansas City Royals versus Cleveland Indians in Kauffman Stadium. Kansas City Royals World Champion from 1985, Greg Pryor, is also donating his time and making this a one-of-a-kind opportunity for some lucky baseball fans! Pryor will spend time with the auction winners during batting practice for 45 minutes and talk about his 10-year Major League career (1976-86).

Pryor played on the same infield in KC with Hall of Famers George Brett and Frank White and was managed by the legendary Dick Howser. In addition, in 1985 Pryor had the rare distinction of starting games at all four infield positions (1B, 2B, 3B, SS). Also, Pryor does a radio show in Kansas City and he knows how to entertain! Pryor joins Scott Voorhees on KFAB 1110 AM “The Good Morning Show” at 10:45am on September 18.

Online bidding for the special BeROYAL package opens today, September 18, at noon and runs until Tuesday, September 22, at noon. Bidding starts at $500 for the auction with an estimated value over $2,500. The link to bid is www.proxibid.com/OmahaSchoolsFoundation.

OPS teacher Jimmy Sheil garnered the donations and designed the auction with support from his principal, Dr. Bonnie Perry-Adams at Parrish School, Dr. Perry-Adams, and Omaha Schools Foundation Executive Director, Toba Cohen-Dunning.
